Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of Intras and advisor of INTRANT, has participated along with Gregorio Haro and Vicente Gallego in teaching two Courses-Workshop on Intelligent Systems (ITS) held on July 24, 2018 at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and organized by ITS Spain, ITS Iberoamérica, INTRAS and INTEC, under the auspices of the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transportation (INTRANT)
The course on Intelligent Systems of Public Transport, dealt with the principles of the MaaS model (Mobility as a Service), On the other hand, the course on Intelligent Systems for the Management of Mobility and Road Safety, addressed the principles of Intelligent Mobility (Smart Mobility), both in urban and interurban areas.
Gregorio Haro, who participated in the first course, is Chairman of the ITS Committee on Public Transport of ITS Spain as well as Head of the Mobility Area in the Infrastructure Entity of the Generalitat Valenciana (EIGE).
Vicente Gallego, who participated in the second course, is Vice President of the Ibero-American Federation of Traffic Engineers and Mobility Technicians, and is also Responsible for Works and Maintenance of Traffic Devices of Catalonia.
