Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, has attended the event “Digitalization of logistics in Spain: efficiency and sustainability”, held on May 28, 2024.

In recent years the logistics sector has experienced great growth. In fact, on some occasions it has grown above the GDP. But it has been in the pandemic where that growth has accelerated even more. It became a strategic asset that has changed consumption patterns, forcing companies to improve the customer experience.

Today, this sector faces major challenges, such as its sustainability and the emergence of a very large, fragmented and specialized competitive environment.
