Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS and advisor of the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transportation (INTRANT) of the Dominican Republic, gave a presentation on the National Road Safety Plan for Pedestrians developed by INTRAS, within the Public consultation workshop organized by INTRANT to consolidate this proposal that seeks to reduce the deaths of this type of vulnerable road users and that is part of the National Road Safety Strategic Plan in the country.

Subsequently, the working tables for the development of the "National Strategic Road Safety Plan for Pedestrians", presented their proposals focused on the axes raised: human factor, research, motor vehicles, infrastructure and regulations.
