The fourth episode of the pin_jove project, focused on teenager needs, is now available.
This training module is lead by Alicia Garcia, a youth specialist and adjunct professor at the Universitat de València.
Among other things, the video details the Pourtois and Desmet model (1997) of the twelve adolescent needs and the affective, cognitive, social and ideological dimensions that affect young people.
This episode, as well as past episodes, can be found on the Youth Chair’s youtube channel and on the pin_jove site under the Training and teaching section of the Chair’s webpage.
pin_jove is a training project that is comprised of 10 training modules on the basics of youth work from the socio-educational accompaniment approach. In each 3-5 minute episode, an expert in the field discusses the importance of addressing each topic and then proposes practical suggestions and tactics that can be incorporated into youth work. Every three weeks, we will publish a video and an article on the topic on our webpage, and during this time we will also produce social media content related to the topic of each module.
