The application period of the Injuve Awards of Journalism and Communication 2024 is open until the 6 June 2024. This initiative recognises the best works of social journalism carried out by young people.
The Institute of Youth of the Ministry of Youth and Children announces the Injuve Awards of Journalism and Communication of 2024 to reward the effort and commitment of young journalists or communicators in the field of social journalism, promoting development and outreach of their professional careers.
This announcement will reward the works that have contributed the best to promotion, defence and outreach of civic, social, and equality principles in the modalities of written journalism, photojournalism, audiovisual journalism, and radiophonic journalism.
To do so, the works published between the 12 May 2023 and 8 May 2024 will be awarded, in the framework of the field of social journalism, understood as one that takes responsibility in social processes, reflects on its role in the social context, and worries about finding solutions.
These awards will consist of five thousand euros, in each modality.
Natural people (individually or taking part collectively, with a maximum number of 3 members) of legal age, having Spanish nationality or foreigners legally residing in Spain, not older than 35 in the date that the application period ends (6 June 2024) can apply to these awards.
