The Arsmaya Group for Teaching Innovation in Past Studies, coordinated by Cristina Vidal Lorenzo and Mireia López Bertran, has been recognized as Consolidated Teaching Innovation Group of the Universitat de València.
This recognition distinguishes teams that, after several years of continuous research and work, have demonstrated a solid track record in improving teaching quality and introducing innovative methodologies in university education.
From the very beginning, Arsmaya works on the study and teaching of the past from interdisciplinary perspectives which integrate archaeology, digital humanities and gender equality, promoting new methodologies for university teaching in the field of heritage and ancient history. Its work has contributed to renew the way in which past is taught or learnt, consolidating an interdisciplinary collaboration space between professors and students.
