On Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 September 2025, the 4th International Scientific Conferences Prometeo-Mayatech were held as part of the Promoteo 2024 project: ‘Innovation, Digitisation, Accessibility and Cultural Identity: The Virtual Museum of Maya Culture’ by the Arsmaya researchers, Cristina Vidal Lorenzo and Mª Luisa Vázquez de Ágredos.

The gathering brought together the scientific committee of the project, formed by Mexico, Guatemala, Italy, Germany, Spain as well as the technical team.  The aim was to show the advances in management and research as well as to define the methodological basis for establishing clear guidelines for the development of the virtual museum, ensuring that the project's objectives are completed and proposing a pioneering dissemination methodology with realistic and useful prospects for continuity.

Besides presenting the conceptual and management advances, four panel discussions. Each panel discussion was led by experts on different areas and where it was reflected on the present and future of the project.
