Within the framework of the development of the Cultural Rights Plan promoted by the Ministry of Culture, members of Econcult, the Research Unit in Cultural Economy of the University of Valencia, have been invited to actively participate in specialized commissions that seek to design strategies and proposals to strengthen access, sustainability and evaluation of cultural policies in Spain.

Econcult's participation is distributed in two key areas: Evaluation of cultural policies: Pau Rausell, director of Econcult, has joined this commission to contribute his experience in the analysis and evaluation of cultural policies. The commission's main objective is to establish criteria and indicators that allow measuring the impact and effectiveness of cultural policies in the current context, with emphasis on diversity, equitable access and strengthening the capacities of the sector. Sustainability and Agenda 2030: Raúl Abeledo, Econcult project coordinator, is part of the commission dedicated to integrating sustainability in the cultural sector, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the 2030 Agenda. Abeledo will contribute with his vision on how culture can be a key driver to achieve global goals related to climate change, social equity and a sustainable economy. The incorporation of Econcult in these commissions highlights the relevance of academic research in the formulation of cultural public policies. In the words of Pau Rausell: "The approach based on cultural rights not only seeks to guarantee access and participation of citizens, but also to generate tools to measure and optimize resources destined for cultural development in a sustainable and fair manner." For his part, Raúl Abeledo stressed that "Cultural sustainability is a fundamental pillar for achieving the SDGs, and our mission is to identify synergies between cultural action and global sustainability challenges." The work of these commissions will be decisive for the implementation of concrete measures within the Cultural Rights Plan, which seeks to transform the cultural paradigm in Spain, directing it towards a more inclusive, sustainable and evaluable model. Econcult's participation promises to provide academic rigor, innovation and a strategic vision that connects culture with the great challenges of the 21st century.
