Econcult presents three papers at the International Congress of Economics of Culture ACEI 2025

The Econcult research group of the University of Valencia participates in the 23rd International Congress of the Economy of Culture (ACEI 2025), which takes place from June 24 to 27 at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

The Econcult delegation contributes to the scientific program with three communications that address key issues for the development of cultural policies and the transformation of the cultural and creative sector

Chuan Li participates on Wednesday 25 June from 15:30 to 17:00 in room 2.07 in session S3-E with the communication Determinants of Immersive Technology Adoption in Cultural Organizations: An Analysis Using the UTAUT Model This study applies the UTAUT model to identify the factors that influence the adoption of immersive technologies in cultural organizations and contributes to understanding the dynamics of digital transformation in the sector.

Pau Rausell presents the communication entitled Cultural Policies in Europe's Regions: Are They Effective and Useful? on Thursday, June 26 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in room 1.21 in the S6-B session dedicated to sustainability and cultural policies This research, developed jointly with Rafael Boix, Raúl Abeledo and Francesc Felipe, analyzes the effectiveness of cultural policies at a regional scale and raises questions about their real impact on European cultural ecosystems.

Jordi Sanjuán will speak on Friday, June 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in room 3.08 in session S8-H with communication The Valencian Publishing Sector After the Floods: Diagnosis, Challenges, and Strategic Recovery Measures This contribution also has the participation of Pau Rausell, Belén Català and Virgilio Pérez and focuses on the effects of the floods on the Valencian publishing sector proposing strategic measures for its recovery and modernization

With this triple presence, Econcult strengthens its position as a European reference in the economic and political analysis of culture and demonstrates the group's commitment to research aimed at innovation and social impact.
