
Fernando Álvarez starts his two-month spell at the Università degli Studi di Firenze (Italia).
Fernando Álvarez, researcher at the ECONCULT Research Unit, recently moved to Firenze to begin a stay between October and November at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, specifically at the DISEI, the current Department of Economic and Business Sciences (Dipartimento di Scienze per l'Economia e l'Impresa). The main objective of this stay is to carry out a study on the economic impact of the cultural and creative sectors in Italy in the context of the European economy. He will also continue to work on his research project ESCAMCCAMVI in order to analyse the interrelationship between the tourism sector and the cultural sector at European level. He will develop these studies and work by using a very specific research methodology: Input-Output analysis.
