
The III Workshop of Young Researchers will be held on November 30 and December 1, 2023, a day dedicated to the research of students linked to the Department of Applied Economics.
This event will take place in Classroom 2P04 of the Department of Applied Economics, located on the second floor of the Faculty of Economics in two sessions that will take place on November 30 and December 1.
The speakers will be doctoral students associated with the department, who will present a first structure of their doctoral thesis or the first results of their research. This will be an opportunity for these young researchers to share their work and obtain constructive feedback from the academic community of the associate at the University of Valencia.
The workshop schedule will be from 15:00 to 17:00 on Thursday 30 November and from 09:30 to 13:30 on Friday 1 December. The event will take place over these two consecutive days. The opening of the event will be made by the Director of the Department of Applied Economics, Juan Ramón Gallego Bono.
Elena Spadoni, currently a PhD student at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan, is taking part in a visit to the Research Unit of Econcult. Spadoni will give his presentation called Integrate Extended Reality technology in museums to support the cultural experience and will discuss it to the also member of Econcult Chuan Li.
On the other hand, there will also be the participation of the doctoral student and member of Econcult Fernando Álvarez Teresa, who will discuss Jordi Sanju'n Belda and will carry out his intervention under the title The economic effect of the cultural and creative industries: an input-output analysis for 66 countries using inter-country input-output tables
This Workshop is organized by the Department of Applied Economics and offers a crucial platform for the presentation and discussion of the ongoing research of these young talents from the academic community.
