Marcia Elena Jadue Boeri, collaborator at Econcult who is currently carrying out her doctoral research at the Universitat de València, took part in the VIII Forum on Economy and Culture, held from September 23 to 26, 2025, in various venues across Mexico City’s Historic Center.

This international forum brought together academics, cultural managers, policymakers, and institutions to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing culture and creative industries in Ibero-America.

On September 24, during the Training Panel at the Museum of Art of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, Jadue presented the paper “The potential of Generative AI in research on creative autonomy from the perspective of cultural management.” Her talk highlighted how generative artificial intelligence can expand possibilities in cultural research while also raising important ethical, methodological, and social challenges.

Key insights from her presentation:

  • Generative AI as a tool to enhance cultural research.

  • Expanding the scope of creative autonomy for artists and cultural managers.

  • The role of cultural management in framing critical approaches to technology.

Jadue’s participation reinforces the Universitat de València’s international presence and contribution to global debates on culture in the digital era. The forum, now in its eighth edition, has established itself as a key meeting point to understand how technological and economic transformations are reshaping cultural work, training, and public policy across Latin America and Europe.
