This week, València becomes an Ibero-American meeting point through #CongresoPUENTE, a space for dialogue and collaboration around performing arts, in which the Cultural Observatory of the University of Valencia and Econcult take part

The PUENTE Congress, organised by Teatro de lo Inestable, is an international gathering aimed at connecting models, experiences and reflections on the management, creation and circulation of Ibero-American performing arts.

The Congress takes place at La Rambleta from 24 to 30 November, and our contribution is part of Route 2: Mobility, specifically within the action “Gaps and economy: data on sustainable mobility.” This roundtable focuses on inequalities and challenges of sustainable artistic mobility in the Ibero-American space, while also sharing and discussing the results of the PUENTE survey, carried out to enrich the debate and open new paths for the future of mobility in performing arts.

The session will be held on Thursday 27 November, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., in the Cambra room at La Rambleta, with the participation of:

  • Pamela López Rodríguez (Plaz Gestión Cultural, Chile–Argentina)

  • Ferran Murillo (Tantarantana, Fàbrica de Creació, Spain)

  • Marcia Jadue Boeri (Cultural Observatory of the University of Valencia, Spain)

  • Zaida Rico (technical secretariat of IBERESCENA / IBERCENA)

  • At the same time, Chuan-li—an Econcult member and professor at the Faculty of Economics—also participates in a joint working session which he moderates himself, aimed at promoting improvements in internationalization policies and strategies.

The PUENTE Congress is supported by: Ajuntament de València, IVACE +i (Generalitat Valenciana), INAEM, IVC – Institut Valencià de Cultura, Acción Cultural Española AC/E, Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, AVED, AVETID, Gestió Cultural, APDCV, APCCV, and the Red de Teatros Alternativos.
