Girls4Stem is a project aimed at promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) vocations, especially among girls, through the organisation of activities of dissemination, such as the one scheduled for Saturday 31st October 2020, at the Jardí Botànic of Valencia, where one of the ‘Family’ talks on the neurologist Rita Levi-Montalcini will take place.

The project has a participative and inclusive spirit, thus, its first main value is the pre-university student body: primary, secondary, high school and training cycles.

It aims to raise awareness about the daily work of people working in the STEM areas. Thus, the second great value of the project is the STEM experts, who (by means of dynamic and entertaining talks) will update on the emerging talent inside and outside the Valencian Community, and will help to make visible the women’s role within the STEM disciplines.

Girls4STEM is, in short, a project aimed at promoting STEM vocations, especially between girls, through the organisation of dissemination activities.
