The Observatory on Government, Strategy and Competitiveness of Companies (GECE) presents its Key "The longest-lived Valencian family enterprises are the most active in export, ranked 16 points above their national equivalents" in collaboration with the Chair of Family Business of the University of Valencia, promoted by Bankia and the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE).

The key analyzes the competitiveness of Valencian companies and their relationship with their corporate governance, management and strategy. This addresses the study of the international profile of companies according to their age, as well as the relationship with the type of property. In addition to the positive partnership between the age of the company and international activity, the data indicate that older companies also further diversify the international markets served and the countries in which they place their subsidiaries abroad.
