
Registration to access to the first course of any of the two itineraries offered in Gandia starts on Monday, 19 May and can be done online. Registration is open to anyone 50 years of age or older.
La Nau Gran Gandia, a training programme for individuals 50 years of age or older, offers two training pathways: one dedicated to Social and Legal Sciences and the other dedicated to the Arts and Humanities.
Each of the training programmes will last for three academic years. The social and legal sciences pathway will include subjects in law, psychology, economy, geography, human rights or sociology. While the arts and humanities pathway will offer subjects in philosophy, history, art history, music or film. As for the elective subjects, students will be able to choose from a wide variety of academic subjects related to culture, art, heritage, history, languages, literature and physical exercise. All subjects are taught by the professor staff of the Universitat de València.
La Nau Gran Gandia is directed toward students since 2007, from the region of La Safor, as well as surrounding areas, to students over 50 or more, with an eagerness to learn and motivated by culture. The programme will be taught in the Gandia International Centre of the Universitat de València. Currently, it counts with more than 500 students coming from all the district.
Online pre-enrolment for first-year students will be open from 19 May to 15 of July. Registration to La Nau Gran of Gandia will be done filling this formulary: https://ir.uv.es/uvgandia20/NauGranGandia25. Places are limited for the first course of the two pathways and the selection will take place on 5 September 2025 (Friday) at 12 noon. The only requirement is that of age, since no previous studies are required.
