Bank of Best Practices

Best practices on gender equality within universities refer to all those experiences and initiatives guided by standards, objectives and procedures from a gender point of view, and carried out by universities in the Network. All these experiences have been successful proving that they are helpful and useful for gender equality policies. By standardising the best practices, other universities can learn from other universities in terms of experiences and learning, and serve as model for others.

This section is devoted to share initiatives from the Gender Equality Unities in order to develop their functions:

a) Create and develop Gender Equality Plans

b) Ensure non-sexist language and images

c) Carry out awareness campaigns on gender equality and against gender violence

d) Create Sexual Harassment and Gender Protocols and Settlement Plans

e) Promote a gender perspective in all areas of the University

In the diagnostics that we carry out, the Gender Equality Unities tempt common necessities which have been identified through an accurate evaluation of the inequalities between men and women in the university community.
