In order to join the network, you must fill in the adhesion document that you will find hereunder with the date of your unit and sign it. The text that was drafted during the 3rd Meeting of Equality Unities and Offices for the creation of a Network of Equality in the Spanish universities. It has been updated in 2018 for the new members of RUIGEU.
Once the document is signed, you can send it by postal mail to the attention of the Equality Unit of the University of the Universitat de València (Cultural Centre La Nau C/ University, 2, 46003, Valencia) or scanned to the E-mail address igualtat@uv.es. In some cases, the adhesion has been signed by the vice-principal in charge of the unit; in others, by the office, the observatory or the direction of the unit.
At the case of the private Universities, they can request the adhesion always that they conform a series of minimal requisites:
- Unit or specific Service for the management of the politics of Equality
- Equality Plan of the University
- Protocol of sexual harrashment
Besides, it will be valued the existence of institutes of research in feminist and gender studies, as well as the consulting at gender and the accreditation or signs at Equality awarded by the Public Administrations.
