The 6th Edition of the IAIOS TRAINING FESTIVAL, organised by the UIRFIDE Research Group in collaboration with the Sports Service of the Universitat de València, will take place on 28 April.
The 6th Edition of the IAIOS TRAINING FESTIVAL will be held on 28 April 2023 (Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). The event is an inclusive and intergenerational festival dedicated to our elders doing physical activity in groups, socialising, learning and having fun together with professionals and students who want to improve their competence in this sector.
Organised by the Sport Performance and Physical Fitness Research Group of the Universitat de València (UIRFIDE, GIUV 2013-140) and the University's Sports Service, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, the IAIOS 2023, returns to be the backbone in the fight against sedentary lifestyles. And to promote better professionals and better policies for successful ageing.
YOGA, TAI CHI, NORDIC WALKING, DANCE, ADAPTIVE FUNCTIONAL TRAINING, CHAIR DANCING, DOCUMENTARIES, AND OUR ALREADY LEGENDARY LUNCH FROM THE HORNO TRADICIONAL CA CAMARASA, in Castalla (Alicante), will surely delight all our participants.
Collaborating in the event are public and private institutions such as the Valencian Government, the GEPACV, the Valencian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology, the Gesmed Foundation, the Asociación Entrenamiento con Mayores (EcM) and the CSD Inmotusalus Network.
