Inhuman beings: Representation and racism in the media

Masterclass by journalist and writer Lucía Asué Mbomío Rubio on racial representation in the media. This masterclass, open to the general public, is part of the training course "Digital Afrofuturism: Activism, Culture, and New Narratives on Social Media”.  The event offers an in-depth look at how the media has portrayed racialised individuals, analysing the social and cultural implications of this visibility and reflecting on the new narratives that can be created through the media and social networks as tools for digital activism.
