
The presentation of the new UVteaching portal will take place on Tuesday, 18 February. The event will be held in the Matilde Salvador Hall at La Nau at 12pm.
UVteaching aims to support teaching staff in their teaching task and provide easily accessible and updated information on the organisation of teaching, tools, materials, training and good practices to help improve the learning experience at the Universitat de València.
The event will begin with a welcome address by the Vice-Rector for Lifelong Learning, Teaching Transformation, and Employment, Ángeles Solanes, who will introduce the concept of the UVteaching portal, highlighting its objectives and the importance of this new tool for the university community. A brief introduction of the teams involved in the development of this project will also be given.
Next, Josep Gonzalbo, Head of the Web and Marketing Unit will present the work carried out from a web perspective, explaining improvements in navigation, accessibility, and usability to facilitate the use of the portal and interaction with academic content.
The Rector’s Delegate, Rosendo Pou, will introduce the main contents of the portal, emphasizing its structure and the information it provides to support teaching and educational innovation.
Finally, the Rector, Mª Vicenta Mestre, will close the event with concluding remarks, highlighting the relevance of this new digital space within the framework of teaching transformation at the Universitat de València.
