Do you like Kpop, do you watch Korean series and dramas non-stop, are you attracted to Korean culture? Our Korean language and culture teacher, Hyun Lee Park, has teamed up with Gabriel Choi to debunk the myths that have been created around this culture that is as fascinating as it is complicated to understand from our Western point of view.

Both of us have been living outside of South Korea for a long time, but Korean culture has always been with us, as we both have Korean parents. After so many years of explaining what Korea is (because no one knew it), we were suddenly overwhelmed with the number of people who started to be interested in this culture that we still feel very much ours, but at the same time we know how to see it from a Spanish point of view.
We felt the need to explain the origin of certain oddities that concern this very special culture as well as to demystify certain aspects that many people do not want to see. But we want to do all this with a certain irreverent and very close tone.
