Today, representatives from the University of Valencia, including the Vice-Rector for Sustainability, Cooperation, and Healthy Living Pilar Serra, and the Head of Initiatives, Emilio Barba, met with counterparts from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, USA), including the Vice-Rector for Sustainability, Jennifer Chirico, and the professor of Global Development and Identity, Kirk Bowman. They discussed sustainability measures being implemented at the University of Valencia and collaborated on a training program for GeorgiaTech students taking place in the city of Valencia during the month of June. The focus is on enhancing our universities through energy efficiency, sustainable waste management, and public procurement."
