Volunteering in sustainability

Environmental reality is characterized by increasing pollution, the impact of climate change, and the accelerated loss of biodiversity.

In the Sustainability Volunteering programme, you will first receive training to understand the environmental, economic, and consumption dynamics that affect the planet’s sustainability, biodiversity, and the exploitation of natural resources. You will also learn practices that help raise awareness, educate, and inform society while contributing to reversing environmental degradation processes.

As part of the volunteering activities, you may participate in initiatives that promote sustainable food systems and fair and responsible trade at the University of Valencia, or take part in local beach actions involving the collection and classification of waste and the assessment of its impact on coastal marine ecosystems.
