Sustainability Commission

l. The Sustainability Commission shall be composed of the following members, or the persons to whom they delegate:

a) The president of the Commission, who shall be the vice‑rector with responsibilities in sustainability.

b) The vice‑president, who shall be the delegate for Sustainability, and who shall act as president in their absence.

c) The secretary of the Commission, who shall be appointed at the proposal of the presidency from among the members of the Commission.

d) The deputy manager for economic coordination and services.

e) The person responsible for each of the services, units, and areas related to the University’s Sustainability Programme:

· Technical Unit Service · Administrative Procurement Service · Continuing Education Service · Information and Engagement Service (SeDI) · Technical and Maintenance Service · Scientific Culture Unit – Office of Scientific Policy · Unit for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities · Equality Unit · Environment Area · Prevention Service · Research Support Service

f) The heads of initiatives linked to the vice‑rectorate with responsibilities in Sustainability.

g) One member of the 0.7 Commission.

h) The director of the Botanical Garden.

i) The campus‑coordinating deans: Blasco Ibáñez, Burjassot‑Paterna, and Tarongers.

j) Three teaching and research staff (PDI), proposed by the Governing Council from among individuals of recognized experience in Sustainability within the University of Valencia.

k) Three students elected by the General Assembly of Students.

l) The presidents of the PAS Board, the PDI Board, and the Works Council, as invited participants.

n) The rector’s delegate for the strategic plan.

o) The rector’s delegate for Cooperation.

The presidency of the Commission shall invite any persons it deems appropriate to participate, with voice but without vote.
