The L’Albufera Biological Station (EBA) disposes of an amount of scientific infrastructures located in L’Albufera Natural Park, designed to ease research, university teaching, and scientific dissemination in real field conditions.

The infrastructures of the EBA rely on the use of public spaces from the natural park, as well as specific experimental facilities. This model allows to progressively and flexibly develop the capabilities of the station, adapting them to the requirements of the research projects.

This model allows to conduct experimental studies in natural and semi-natural conditions, fostering interdisciplinary research and knowledge transfer to the management and preservation of the environment.
