The exponential development of omics analysis technologies in recent years has led to a significant increase in the volume of raw data generated and, consequently, the need to establish specific data analysis flows to optimise each analysis methodology, as well as to interrelate them with each other in order to maximise the biological interpretation of the results obtained. This requires the integration of specific scientific and technical expertise in the fields of biology, biochemistry, biostatistics and computer science, as well as the use of specific computational equipment and methods. The aim of the Omics Data Analysis service of the Universitat de València is to provide the scientific community with bioinformatics and statistical support in the assessment, design, computational analysis, visualisation and interpretation of results, mainly of high-performance data obtained from the different omics analysis platforms (Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics and Metabolomics).
