  • I have been assigned a Sicue mobility place in the provisional list, what do I have to do now?

You should know that until the final publication this assignment is not firm and can change. The provisional lists are published in order to detect and solve any errors that may have occurred.
Once you have checked that you have been granted a place on the final list, you must visit the website of the host university to find out what documents you must submit and its deadlines. Then contact the academic coordinator of your degree to prepare the study contract (academic agreement in SICUE terminology).

  • If I have a SICUE place assigned and finally I don't want to leave my mobility, how can I resign the place?

Resignation from the SICUE place must be communicated in written form. There is a model SICUE waiver on our Useful Documents page. (https://www.uv.es/uvweb/college/en/international-relations/international-relations/sicue-programme/uv-students/useful-documents-1285846959802.html). Search in the Portalumne application (https://webges.uv.es/uvOnlineOffice/).go to "Mobility Programmes with other universities" and "consult mobility destinations".

An Academic Agreement must be drawn up, which is a list of the subjects to be taken at the host university and another list of the subjects to be validated at the Universitat de València. • How much does the Erasmus Internship pay me?

The amount of the Erasmus Internship grant depends on the country where the internship takes place, and the countries are classified into three groups according to their standard of living. A maximum of four months can be financed. If the internship lasts longer than four months, the period exceeding that, although not financed, is also considered a grant. • Why is there a "Study Contract" and an "Academic Agreement"? What's the difference?

They are two documents that are different in form but have similar content: a list of subjects at the host university and the list of subjects that will be recognised at the Universitat de València. The Study Contract is a document from the Universitat de València that has to be prepared with a computer application available in Portalumne, which facilitates the academic and administrative task of recognising the studies carried out in the host university.
The Academic Agreement is the official document of the CRUE (not computerised) which fulfils the same function as the Study Contract. The Study Contract is obligatory. Most universities accept our Study Contract. A few universities require the Academic Agreement, in which case you will have to do both documents.

You must submit the documents indicated on our website, in the SICUE Programme, under the tab "Useful Documents".

  • Can I modify my stay, extend it, or shorten it?

In theory, the stay must be for the duration provided for in the Bilateral Agreement but it can be reduced or extended. The reduction or extension requires the signature of the two academic coordinators as a sign of approval in the document foreseen for this purpose and which can be found in the "Useful Documents". In any case, except for academic problems (annual courses, etc.), the reduction is always granted. However, the extension is subject to the approval of both universities.

  • Is the Sicue mobility place complemented with any financial aid?

According to press reports, the Spanish Ministry of Education could again call for financial aid that some of the SICUE students would receive. This scholarship existed years ago under the name of SENECA scholarship.
