1st Culturla Week of the Tarongers Campus

Campus dels Tarongers.

The four faculties on Tarongers Campus of the University of Valencia have organised the 1st Cultural Week, starting Monday. Debates and lectures on various topics complete the program. The Plaça del Patriarca of Valencia is the scene of the first activity, today at 10:00, with a lecture by Rafael Castelló.

 

The director of the Language Policy Service of the University of Valencia, Rafael Castello, speaks at 10:00 on 'linguistic practices and social inequality'. On Tuesday, 23 April, at 19:00 in the classroom N507 (North Classroom Building), the collective Acull Valencia organises a conference titled 'Monologues exclusion'.

 

On Wednesday, 24 April, at the PB-04 Classroom, the Faculty of Teacher Training will host a panel discussion titled "Present and future of publishing '. Participants include Africa Ramirez, Arturo Puig, Josep Jesus Figuerola and Gregori. At 12:00. Also on Wednesday, at 18:00 in the same place will be a panel disucssion of illustrators, with Paco Giménez, Aitana Carrasco and Cristina Duran.

The Saló de Graus of the Faculty of Economics will host on Thursday, 25, the conference 'Language, Culture, Business'. At 16:00, there will be a debate between Rosa Serrano and Maria Josep Cuenca. At 17:30 will be the turn of Vicent Soler, dean of economics, who will speak on 'The economy of Valencia and the Valencian language'. At 18:30 there will be a debate by Pau Rausell, Josep Maria Soriano, Vincent Candel and Eva Caro.

On the 26, the Sala de Graus of the Faculty of Law (10:30) is scheduled a panel dicussion titled "Current Issues of intellectual property ', moderated by Javier Plaza, and Jesus Olavarria, Juan Antonio Urena, Shell Saiz and Felipe Palau. And at 12:30, will be the presentation of the paper 'intellectual property law 25 years later', by Rodrigo Bercovitz.
