A cinema series about Amnesty International Valencia starts tomorrow at La Nau

The 8th edition of the cinema series about Amnesty International Valencia starts tomorrow, 12 September, at the Cultural Centre La Nau. Films and documentaries about the main worries of Amnesty International regarding the situation of the human rights in the world will be projected each month during the academic year.

‘Los Sin Tierra’, opens the edition of this year tomorrow Tuesday at 19:30. It is a documentary on a group of farmers that decides to create ‘Movimiento de los Sin Tierra’ (Landless Workers' Movement). Nowadays, this movement is one of the most important social organizations in the world. This laureate documentary will work as a starting point to talk about the situation of the human rights in Brazil. All the projections will take place at the Aula Magna of the Universitat de València. The entrance is free but there is a limited number of places.

Experts in the topic will be invited and will present each film. At the end, there will be a debate in which the audience will be given the opportunity to speak.
