The University of Valencia presents in Camporrobles the exposure “Utiel- Requena Plateau”.

The Mayor of Camporrobles, Gerardo Gómez (izquierda), and the Vice‐Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, Jorge Hermosilla.

The Camporrobles Museum “Raúl Gómez” is hosting an exposure by specialists of the University of Valencia, where the most unique aspects of Requena-Utiel Plateau, such as Las Hoces del Cabriel, viticulture, Kelin deposit, etc, are collected. While analysing interesting scenic values, historical and cultural, socioeconomic, etc., of the Valencian region. The inauguration was attended by the mayor of the town, Gerardo Gomez, and the Vice‐Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, Jorge Hermosilla.

The Mayor was satisfied by the fact Camporrobles to host an exposure of great interest to their neighbours; a sample of thirty-one panels reviewing the features of this land, its history, its vineyards, their speech , etc.
 
Vice‐Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation said, meanwhile, that the exposure shows the work being carried out from the University to project the research potential of the university teachers and researchers and to bring the generated knowledge to Valencian society.
 
The exposure 'The University of Valencia and its natural environments: The Requena- Utiel Plateau', curated by Full-University Professor Juan Piqueras, is a coral sample whose production specialists have worked in several departments of the University: Juan Piqueras Haba, Alejandro Pérez Cueva, Carmen Sanchis Deusa, Ana Camarasa Belmonte, Joan Carles Membrado Tena, Emilio Iranzo, Ghaleb Fansa (Department of Geography), Daniel Muñoz Navarro (Department of Modern History), Consuelo Mata Parreño and David Quixal Santos (Department of Prehistory and Archaeology), Rafael Gil Salinas (Department of History of Art ), Miguel Requena Jiménez (Department of History of Antiquity and the Written Culture), Antonio Briz Gómez (Department of Spanish), Rafael Narbona Vizcaíno (Department of Medieval History), Ignacio García Ferrandis and Ascensio Carratalá Beguer (Department of Experimental and Social Sciences Teaching) Adrià Besó Ros (Department of History of Art), Mercedes Fernández Martínez, Angeles Raduán Ripoll, Pilar Navarro Gómez, Javier Lluch Tarazona and Francisco Javier Aznar Avedaño (Department of zoology), Plini Montoya Belló (Department of Geology), ESTEPA Research Unit (Department of Geography) and Department of Territorial Planning.
 
In addition to teaching and research staff of the University also participated in the preparation of the sample other specialists linked to the region, as the Regulating Council of the Denomination of Origin Utiel- Requena, Requena City Council, the Spanish Ministry of Infrastructures, Territory and the Environment, etc. The exhibition will remain in Camporrobles until 14 February, and then it will follow its journey through the towns of the Meseta (Plateau).
