The council of Universitat de València once again, and as the institution has done on numerous occasions through its governing bodies, has expressed condolences and solidarity with all the victims of the violent attack which took place last night at Niece and which, even though investigation is still in progress, is considered as a terrorist attack.
After government´s directives, the flags on the buildings of UV have flawn at half-mast, and at 12 o´clock today the cloister of UV has held an ordinary session in which a minute of silence, called for by the government, has been observed.
The executive council of Universitat de València invited the whole academic community to join in expressing condolences and solidarity by gathering at the doors of the institution´s buildings today at 12 o´clock (noon) in order to observe a minute of silence.
