Synopsis: Acclaimed first work of a very young Bernardo Bertolucci (he was only 22), based in the storyboard of Pier Paolo Pasolini. Next to a public park, in a rocky ground of the Roman Tevere, appears the body of a prostitute. Investigations of the police focus in the roman underworld of pilferers, pimps, and other social outcasts.
