This conference in Riba-roja revolves around the Turia River in that it becomes a key element for local development.

In order to reactivate and invigorate economically local companies we must take advantage of endogenous resources of each area, and there is no doubt that the Turia River is the great resource in this space. How can we preserve the cultural and natural landscape of the Turia River and take advantage of water resources at the same time? How can we preserve this traditional fluvial landscape and promote the future possibilities of economic development at the same time? Various specialists from the University of Valencia in local development, heritage, landscape, environment, etc. will show their points of view on these and other issues.
