At the age of sixty-six, Warren Schmidt retires and, at the same time, loses all perspective. The sudden death of his wife a few weeks later only makes things worse. He then begins to correspond with Ndugu, a boy from Tanzania who is sponsored by him for twenty-two dollars and two dollars a month and who serves as his confidant.

All screenings will be in original version with subtitles with a presentation and a discussion.
