SYNOPSIS

Ainhoa Mata Juanicotena was born in a family who filmed, recorded and photographed her life for many years.

In her adolescence, at the end of the 80s decade, Ainhoa started to write about what she never wanted to tell anyone. The life diaries she kept until her death describe a woman different form the one her relatives and friends knew. Intimate diaries revealing endless themes related to the female experience, a topic addressed by other women writers throughout history. No matter how geographically or temporally far: topics, sensations and moods converge in a common place.

Ainhoa, yo no soy esa is also an alternative chronicle to the official history of 90s Spain, told via a woman’s life diaries.
