'Connected restlessly, as long as we are separated. Time goes by in front of a screen, leaving life devoid of experiences, hooked in a net that feeds us the information we wish for. Turned into algorythms without a clue of who we are ourselves.'
CONNECTED is a contemporary dance piece diving into the tensions of our daily lives due to the excessive digital connection and showing how our exposure to technology can empty our lives o experiences and turn us into just algorythms.
Performers explore how mobile devices and social media keep us within a tide of information and virtual communication while taking away immediate reality and genuine human bonds.
'Does the tool adapt to you, or do you adapt to the tool? Do you use the machine, or the machine uses you?
Look around you, can you get off the screen?'
