Plebeyos bailes aims to discover a forgotten part of popular music of the Golden Age: the musical practice of women from the most popular social strata who met to play, sing and dance clandestinely. 
Dances such as the zarabanda, jácaras, villanos, passacaglias, folias and marionas coexist in this show with flamenco and jazz, performed by Èlia Casanova and La Tendresa, with staging and movement by Sociedad Doctor Alonso, costumes by Jorge Dutor and lighting by Cube.bz.
This is an attempt to bring early music closer to contemporaneity, deconstructing the usual format of a baroque music concert to turn it into a hybrid that allows us to enjoy the music and its performance and, at the same time, to understand other intrinsic aspects of the time in which it was created.
