Calendar for the 2024/2025 school year

For doctoral studies, the maximum number of deadlines is 6 for second and subsequent enrolments and 5 for first enrolments, due to the enrolment renewal calendar (first half of October) and the self-enrolment periods.

  • Direct debit: in a single payment, two instalments or six instalments. You must enter the details of a Spanish bank account in the self-enrolment application.
  • Modification of bank details: For the change of account to be effective, it will be necessary to send the direct debit order (through UV Online Office/My procedures)  to the Doctoral School.
  • Credit card payment: Receipts will be issued in the same periods as the direct debit payment. An email will be sent to the institutional address of "alumni" to inform that the receipt has been generated and the payment will have to be made from the date of issue of the receipt through the online payment platform of the UV (Sede Electrónica UV), within a period not exceeding 8 days.

All students will be issued with a receipt for the collection of administrative fees and school insurance (under 28 years of age), including students who are beneficiaries of a pre-doctoral contract and who are exempt from academic supervision. These fees are not refundable.

Consequences of non-payment

Failure to pay the registration fee or any of the instalments, in the case of payment in instalments, will result in the cancellation of the registration, without the right to reimbursement of the amounts that have been paid. In this case, the registration will be automatically cancelled. The decision to cancel the registration due to non-payment will be notified to the institutional address ususario@alumni.uv.es. Under no circumstances will it be communicated to other e-mail addresses available to the student.

  • In the event of re-enrolment, you will only have the option to pay in full in a single instalment and not by direct debit. In case of non-payment, the procedure will be the same as above. The registration fee must be paid or, if applicable, cancelled before the end of November 2025.
  • Withdrawal due to non-payment of enrolment fees implies the impossibility of being admitted to and enrolling in the same doctoral programme in which the withdrawal was made in the subsequent academic year. In the event of being re-admitted, the time previously spent on the same doctoral programme will be taken into account for the purposes of calculating the duration of the doctoral studies.
  • Total cancellation of the enrolment due to non-payment implies the revocation of any grades obtained in the complementary training credits, as well as the revocation of the transversal or specific training activities of the programme that may have been included in the transcript during the academic year in which the enrolment is cancelled.

Students who have completed their studies will not be able to deposit their degree until all outstanding fees have been paid in full.

Exemptions

The exemption can only be applied and the rebate will only apply if this condition is recognised during the period of renewal of enrolment for second or successive year students or during the period of enrolment for first year students. Fees cannot be refunded if the condition was not recognised or if the recognition certificate was issued after the enrolment period.

Renewal of enrolment: from 1 to 15 October

First registration:

  • from 10 to 17 October 2024 (ordinari phase)
  • from 9 to 11 Desember 2024 (extraordinari phase)

Refunds of fees

The refund of fees corresponding to academic supervision and other concepts paid will only proceed if the application for withdrawal is submitted before 31 December of the corresponding academic year.
