The workshop will focus on raising awareness of the applicability and benefits of using winter legumes for citrus cultivation.
The main objective of the Maxi-CoberLEG Project is the development of native lupine covers that maximize citrus productivity and quality through the restoration of the sustainability and resilience of production systems. This objective will be achieved by:
- Determining the productivity, adaptability and viability of local lupin species and varieties.
- Optimizing the use of phytosanitary products.
- Optimizing winter vegetation covers and agricultural practices.
- Checking the general effectiveness of vegetation cover management on yield and fruit quality indicators in citrus crops.
-Disseminating the strategies and results obtained in the improvement of the sustainability of citrus cultivation.
