| Non-academic business environment eligibility | Companies with a registered office or business development center located in the Valencian Community with the following characteristics: industrial or service companies included in the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE 2009), provided that the doctoral thesis is linked to an R&D+i project developed by the company. |
| Eligible costs | Salary cost of the contracted person (maximum €4,500/month), consultancy and technical assistance (up to €14,000/year), tuition fees for the PhD student (up to €1,000/year), training activities and conferences (up to €10,000/year) and supporting audit report (up to €1,400/year). |
| Funding |
Up to 50 % of the eligible costs for SMEs and up to 30 % for large enterprises. Within these limits, the aid may be increased by up to 5% when the person hired is a woman, in order to alleviate the existing gender gap in scientific-technical research. |
| Duration of the aid | Maximum of 3 fiscal years between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2028. |
