Conmemorative Days of the 1800 anniversary of the Constitutio Antoniniana (212 a.D.)

Constitutio Antoniana

Period of the event: 22 November, 2012 from 09:15 to 14.00. Thursday and 23 November, 2012 from 09:15 to 12:45. Friday

Hosting place: Faculty of Law and Faculty of Geography and History.

On the occasion of the one thousand eight hundred years of the Constitutio Antoniniana of the Emperor Caracalla, teachers of the University of Valencia have organised open days for dealing with its more trascendental aspects as it was the first regulation of the european continent and of the mediterranean world to establish equal rights. These open days are presented with a multidisciplinar character, with the collaboration of experts in diverse departments (Ancient History, History of Art, Roman Law, and Constitutional Law). Its informative aspirations means they are preferably aimed to students and a awide public interested in the subject. These open days validate for one free elective credit.
