Style regulations

1) General regulations

The articles must be unpublished, with a maximum length of 20 pages.The articles must have a title, the author or authors’ name, the name of the department, university or institution to which the authors are affiliated. A summary of 50-100 words in Spanish/Catalan and its translation to another language (preferably English or French) must be included.
Footnotes must be avoided. Bibliographic citations will be inserted in the text between parentheses (author’s surname, year and pages). Bibliography will be included at the end of the text, in alphabetical order and according to the following examples:

  • Magazines:

       COSTA, M., CUERDA, J., ROSSELLÓ, V. M. (1986): “L’artificialització del litoral valencià”, Cuadernos de Geografía, 38, 1-28.

  • Books:

       RACHOCKI, A. (1981): Alluvial fans, London, John Wiley & Sons, 161 p.

  • Books chapters:

        STARKEL, L. (1986): “Climatic change and fluvial response”, en: Gardner, R., Scoging, H. (Ed.),
Megageomorphology, Oxford, Clarendon Press, 191-211.

  • Conferences:

        SANCHIS, F., CARBONELL. M. J., COMPANY, A. (1986): “Repertori de llocs i despoblats valencians en
el segle XVIII”, X Col·loqui G

2) Charts and illustrations

They will be the essential (the Editorial Council reserves the right to suggest and propose the reduction of charts, graphs and illustrations, if needed). Charts and illustrations (diagrams, drawings and photographs) will be submitted in separate sheets, indicating on the back of each of them the author’s name and the order number.
Each chart must be numbered and have its corresponding title. Graphs or drawings must be sent fully delineated and taking into account that the size of the letters and the line thickness is the appropriate to enable their reduction without loss of clarity. Titles and conventional signs explanations must be placed at the end of the caption. If they are maps, drawings, profiles…, the graphic scale must always be noted, never numerically.
Photographs will always be published in black and white and must be clear and contrasted.
Figure footnotes must be sent all together in a separate sheet.
