Their general purpose is to determine the SW pattern of changes in response to the dynamic work stressors. Their specific purposes are:

 

  1. To determine the pattern changes of the different dimensions of the SW in the work.
  2. To identify the models that describe the relation between the pattern of changes of the of the work stressors considered and the patterns of change of the different dimensions of the SW
  3. To determine if the personality traits (neuroticism and extroversion) have an impact on the relation between the patterns of change of the different dimensions of the SW.
  4. To find out if certain resources available in the work environment (autonomy and social support) influence the relationship between the patterns of change of work stressors and the patterns of change in the dimensions of the BS. 
  5. To determine if different strategies of facing have an impact on the relation between the pattern of changes of the wprk stressors and the pattern of change of the dimensions in SW.

 

In order to achieve these objectives an intra-subject longitudinal research design is implemented, and dynamic analysis methods (Latent Growth Modeling and Dynamic Structural Equation Modeling) are used.
