The Institute of Personnel Psychology, Organizational Development and Quality of Work Life (IDOCAL) developed in Valencia, on September 7 and 8, 2017, the VII Scientific Research Conference in Human Resources Psychology within the framework of the PROMETEO Program 2016-138 for groups research excellence. The main objective was to deepen the research of the psychosocial aspects of resources and human capital in organizations, sharing knowledge between researchers from national and international universities and promoting the transfer of this knowledge to the current socio-economic environment. Most of the research papers that were presented at the conference come from the Interuniversity Doctorate Program in Human Resources Psychology by the universities of Seville and Valencia (RD 2011) directed by Professor José Mª Peiró and coordinated by Professors Lourdes Munduate at the University of Seville and Ana Zornoza at the University of Valencia who has the mention of excellence from the Ministry.

In these sessions, topics of interest to our society are analyzed, which contribute to the improvement of sustainable well-being in companies and organizations and to the development of human capital. The program had three invited professors: Prof. Dr. Carmen Tabernero from the University of Salamanca, Dr. Ute R. Hülsheger from the Mastricht University and Professor Dr. Francisco Mediana from the University of Seville, who gave invited lectures on relevant topics and of interest in the area such as well-being at work and the application of Mindfulness in this area and the design of conflict resolution strategies in organizations. The participation of researchers belonging to different lines of research in this field, both from the University of Valencia and the University of Seville, allows us to develop spaces for debate and reflection on the challenges that our discipline currently faces.

La participación de investigadores pertenecientes a diferentes líneas de investigación en este campo, tanto de la Universidad de Valencia como de la de Sevilla permite desarrollar espacios de debate y reflexión sobre los retos que tiene planteados nuestra disciplina en la actualidad.
