New ICT support requests website

From today, the new website for the management of support requests related to information and communication technologies for users of the Universitat de València is available.

Improvements are substantial, not only in the aesthetic aspect, but also in the functional aspect.

In the new website of the ICT Support Center, the user perceives at a glance that it is not a question of formulating any type of request from the UV, but only those related to ICT or information technology. It provides the necessary information on the provision of the service, link to the portals of greater use in the university environment, etc.

The most relevant change is the introduction of a search engine for documented ICT helps and FAQ's, providing a self-service to the users, in the resolution of their problems, linked to a knowledge base created by the Servei d'informática.

A review is made of the current regulations, of application and mandatory compliance by the university community, and links to the most frequent aids are incorporated, as well as those for the management of our requests and monitoring of them.

In the new portal of the ICT Support Center, there is an area reserved for notices regarding security alerts, scheduled interventions, incidents that have occurred, and a tour of more information of interest for users who experience problems that may not be related to the performance of his work.

These changes respond to a desire to improve both the provision and the quality of the service aimed at serving the users of our University.
