Ana Cros Stotter |
La Profesora Ana Cros es licenciada en Física por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Realizó su tesis doctoral en el Departamento de Física Aplicada de la Universidad de Valencia entre los años 1991 y 1994, estudiando las propiedades vibracionales de heteroestructuras semiconductoras mediante técnicas ópticas y su modelización teórica. Su investigación se ha centrado en el estudio de nanoestructuras semiconductoras como puntos cuánticos, hilos cuánticos, nanocolumnas y microtubos. |

Nuria Garro |
Núria Garro is an Assistant Professor at the Physics faculty of the University of València since 2009. Núria received a B.A. in Physics from the University of València in 1995 and was awarded Ph. D. in Physics at Cambridge University in 2000, where she worked under the supervision of Professor Richard T. Phillips. She held a Ramón y Cajal fellowship at the Institute of Material Science of the University of València between 2002 and 2007. In the last years, Núria’s research interests have focused on the optical characterisation of single semiconductor nanowires. She is co-author of more than 60 peer-reviewed journal articles and one book chapter and has supervised 3 doctoral students. |
