MAES 2023/24 opening lecture by Professor Rosa Rabadán Álvarez, Professor at the Department of Modern Languages at the University of León in Spain, will take place on October 2rd at 18.00 h. (Salón de Grados).
Rosa Rabadán is a Professor at the Department of Modern Languages at the University of León in Spain. Her areas of interest include corpus-based contrastive grammar, English-Spanish, translation, and language technology. Her publications have appeared in Languages in Contrast, Meta, Babel, Across Languages and Cultures, and several scholarly volumes. She is the principal researcher of ACTRES (Contrastive Analysis and Translation English-Spanish).
