La Dra. Hanna Skorczynska, Profesora Titular del Departamento de Lingüística Aplicada de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, participa en el módulo Comunicación en áreas de especialidad el 12 de febrero, con una conferencia sobre "Lexical Patterns in Specialized Communication: The Case of Metaphor".

Dr. Hanna Skorczynska Sznajder is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Her research interests include the use of metaphor in specialist discourse, cross-cultural profesional communication, as well as genre variation in profesional contexts. She has published articles in journals such as Metaphor & Symbol, Metaphor in the Social World, Text & Talk, or English for Specific Purposes.
