Dr Julia Bellver Soto and Ms Leticia Fernández, from the Water Section of the Environmental Health Service at the Directorate-General for Public Health, took part in the master’s course.
They delivered a session on the programme regarding the quality of water for human consumption, addressing the applicable regulatory framework and quality criteria for the supply and operation of the supply system. The session also covered risk assessment and management, incident response procedures, and transparency and information mechanisms. Finally, they presented the water quality monitoring programme for drinking water in the Valencian Community as a control and monitoring tool.
